Downloading the app is simple. Just go to your device's app store and type in "AccuWeather", and it'll be the first one on the list. Feel free to scroll down the page to see features that the app has - but we will also be mentioning them here. Once downloaded, just accept the terms and conditions and get started.
When you open the app, it will ask your permission to have access to your location and notifying you that it is recommended to enable your location setting in order for them to accurately report the weather in your current area. Then it will find your location, and your weather report is there. Sounds pretty standard, right?
But the app has many more features that your average weather widget lacks! AccuWeather allows you to not only see your current weather report but easily lets you see the weather hourly and daily - with incredibly accurate graphs to give you an idea of how to dress for the day. The app also allows you to view maps, indicating certain weather conditions on the map so you can view multiple areas in one image. In addition, you have the option of watching videos of weather reports if you want to hear more about it. All of this applies not only to your current location because you can search any other location and see the same information for a different area.
The options and settings portals give you a lot of room to change things around on the app. It allows you to change the temperature unit measurement, and much more. A simple and easy variety of options is a crucial feature for any app - it allows you to tailor the app to suit you perfectly.
The last feature we will mention here is one that is quite unique. Not only does this site allow you to search and view all weather reports, but you can also share this weather report content across multiple social media platforms. For example, you can send the weather report you are currently looking at to a friend on Whatsapp with ease, simply by clicking the share icon and choosing your platform.
