The latest iOS update, iOS 11.1, is the first major update to iOS 11. The update is out now and downloadable for everyone with an iPhone. Front and centre in its latest release you will see a plethora of new emoji. Included in those are a few new emoji such as a vampire, mermaid and fairy or a pixie.
An emoji help express feelings that words cannot particularly do, you never knew you needed a blue heart emoji, but now you have one, the same goes with the newly added scarf emoji. Which looks a lot like one your grandmother have knitted in real life.
The new iOS 11.1 software update has over 70 new emoji and includes a few bug fixes and tweaks, like the return of the 3D Touch option to open up the app switcher by pressing down on the left side of the screen that Apple mystifyingly took out in the original iOS 11 release.
In the end, we all know the newly added emoji are the real draw here.
