All the emoji's but now the added benefit of sending an actual voice message using only emojis. The Animoji app allows you to send an animated version of an emoji that copies and exaggerates your facial expressions to mimic your facial movements. Essentially, you become the emoji using facial detection software. This app is only available for iPhone X users but Android users are still able to receive and play the message (meaning you get the bragging rights). This is a stand–alone, downloadable app that was not created by Apple which means that people are already making improvements to the app to make it more expressive, accurate as well as allowing the user to send longer videos.
The facial detection technology focuses on your facial expression, (tracking over 50 facial muscles at once) and voice, blocking out background details or specific details about your face, such as puffiness. It allows people to send a less personal 10-second version of a video while keeping the fun and expressiveness that a video conveys.
Somehow, saying something to your friend using a monkey or a chicken is just so much better!
