Majority of the people out there are obsessed with our skins, buying and applying a bundle of products to maintain its glowing, firm and not too dry or too oily texture so to avoid wrinkles and pores. Imagine if you could know exactly the state of your skin and which product it needs.
Worry no more because you do not have to go toSephora or to your dermatologist to find out that Johnson & Johnson-ownedNeutrogena has unveiled its skin scanner, the Neutrogena skin360, complete with artificial intelligence at CES 2018.
The Neutrogena skin360 is comprised of a power duo: the skin scanner tool simply plugs into your smartphone and the app does the rest.
Together, it works to give you information on your skin regarding the moisture level, pores and lines. The device that attaches to your smartphone features 12 high-powered LED lights, a 30x magnification lens and highly accurate sensors – the scanner can see above and below the skin's surface. After the analysis, the app will give you feedback on which Neutrogena products you can use to help your skin.
"Shopping for skincare products can be an overwhelming and confusing experience for our consumer because she is uncertain about what her skin really needs," said Sebastien Guillon, global president of beauty at Johnson & Johnson Consumer. "Smart and connected technology helps us provide our consumer with personalised analyses and information she needs in real time so she can make decisions that will help her achieve her best skin ever."
Johnson & Johnson collaborated with FitSkin to develop the tool and mobile app. The Neutrogena skin360 app and SkinScanner tool will be available for purchase later this year for $49.99 on the company's website.
