We have all been there where there is a song playing on the radio and you just want to know all the details so you can listen to it over-and-over-and-over again! Thank goodness Shazam exist, but did you know that you can use Shazam from Snapchat?
The whole process can be seen in the video below and it is pretty simple. When a song is playing, simply press and hold your screen when the Snapchat camera is open. You will get a pop-up screen that will give you the song's name and the artist. It also gives you an option to send the information to a fellow friend or to Dismiss, if you just wanted to know the details.
If you want to keep the information for yourself, simply hit Song Info; this will once again display the song title and artist but more option will be available as you scroll down. You will be able to listen to the song on Spotify or Apple Music, you can even scroll down to view all the lyrics within the app.
To send the song to your friends, hit the Send button. Select which friends or groups you want to share with and proceed just like any other snap you'd send. The whole process is super simple and quick, so don't worry about it being too much of a hassle.
