VIDEO: DONT WORRY, THERE IS A WAY TO AVOID ANY FACEBOOK HISTORY DRAMA

Facebook is the leading social media app which allows people to connect from across the world. People use it to contact people they haven't seen in years, keep up with friends' events (remember their birthdays) and even get a little extra info on a potential love interest.

The search queries inside the website have increased dramatically and, as people search for certain people's profiles, it stores the data of your search history so that you are able to immediately click on the name next time you want to look at that profile again.

However, if you prefer to keep your search endeavors to yourself, there is a way to delete your search history on the Facebook site as well as the app.

1. Once you have logged into your profile on the Facebook website, you need to go to your profile page and search for the "Activity Log" on your cover photo.
   
   
2. You are then able to see all of the posts you have liked, reacted to, shared and commented on with a "More" option on the left.
   
   
3. Under the "More" tab, it will provide a long list of filters where you can see the search tab.
   
   
4. Once clicking on the search tab, a list of the pages and profiles that you have searched for will show up based on a timeline.
   
   
5. Once you have clicked on the search tab, clicking "Clear Searches" will delete all results.

The Facebook app works a bit differently in that you don't actually have to even go to your profile.

1. Once you are in the Facebook app clicking on the search button will drop down the recent searches.
   
   
2. An "Edit" option should be available in the top righthand corner. Once you click on "Edit" an activity log page should open revealing all of your recent searches to date.
   
   
3. The top of the page will have a "Clear Searches" option at the top followed by clicking "Confirm" and your search history should be clean.

See, easy! But don't let this little piece of advice turn you into some creepy stalker, that's not cool.
